Guidance through the abstract submission programme for the

Welcome to the online abstract submission programme for the 10th International Diabetes and Endocrine Conference in Le Meridien, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, 9 August to 11 August, 2024, which we are pleased to introduce to you. Please read these guidelines carefully. A printout could assist you while using the system.
- It is not permitted to submit the abstract that has already been published previously or likely to be published before the deadline (30th June, 2024)
- If the abstract contains the data that has already been published will be removed by the programme committee
- The abstracts that have been presented in recent months at local or national diabetes meetings (e.g ADA,DDG) will be accepted
- The authors submitting/presenting previously published work will be banned from DECON2024 meetings for 3 years

Guidelines for Online submission
- Create an account via the DECON2024 abstract submission system to have access.
- Please make sure that you are starting with capital letters followed by lower case while entering your details
- Please proceed to abstract submission
- All information regarding the abstract submission will be shared only with the first-named author
- The abstract should include the Title, keyword, name of authors, contact details, author's affiliations, content
TITLE: Type your title in the provided field(do not use copy & paste )and it should not exceed 150 words
KEYWORD: Choose the keyword from the drop-down menu (maximum 4 keywords can be selected)
AUTHOR'S DETAILS: The first/presenting author can upload only one abstract under his/her name, additional abstract under the same name will be rejected
All co-authors must be entered individually.
The maximum number of authors is 15 and not more than 1 institutions can be entered for each author.
It is mandatory that the presenting author of any abstract accepted for presentation attends the DECON2024 to present his / her work. IF not a prior mail with an adequate explanation should be sent to the DECON office via Email.

ABSTRACT
- The maximum number of characters is 3,200 (excl. Spaces) including the title and the author block.
- References are not allowed and companies should not to be mentioned in the abstract body
- Enter each section into the corresponding text field with the provided sub-headings
- Aspects of methodology and method should not exceed two sentences. The sentences stating the results must include hard data, including statistical analysis
- Tradenames should not be mentioned anywhere
- Click on the link provided below for a list of approved abbreviations and units of expression for use
- Attention should be drawn to special characters. To ensure that special characters will be published correctly in accepted abstracts, please click here and enter the character(s) by using copy and paste (Internet Explorer 5.5 and higher).
- You are allowed to include only one table OR one graph in your abstract, but 400 characters will be deducted from the maximum number of characters allowed. Tables must be uploaded as an image
- You can edit your table or graph and then replace it, or delete it until the submission deadline of 30 June, 2024.
REVIEW
You can exit the website at any time, all your input will be saved until the last button has been pressed. You can reenter and re-edit your abstract by using your login ID and password until 30 June, 2024
If you wish to delete your abstract, re-enter the system with your login and password, click on the submission step "Review my work" and press the "delete" button
